This is a simple way to animate a hair attachment in a loop. The animation will continue to play even if character is dead.

In Client module, Animations.bb, add this

If AI\HatEN <> 0
      Animate(AI\HatEN)
   EndIf

below

Animate(AI\EN, Mode, Speed# * A\AnimSpeed#[Seq], AI\AnimSeqs[Seq], 1.0)

If you want the attachment to stop animating when character is dead, I supposed you could use the following, but I haven't tested it. 

If AI\HatEN <> 0
   If Seq <> 127 Or Seq <> 128 Or Seq <> 129
      Animate(AI\HatEN, 0)
   Else
      Animate(AI\HatEN)
   EndIf
EndIf

If you want to animate beard attachment (imagine Davy Jone's tentacle beard from Pirates of the Caribbean), you must replace HatEN with BeardEN and go to Actors.bb and add

Field BeardEN

Type ActorInstance

For beard animation, then, in Actors3D.bb, you must replace all BeardEN with A\BeardEN.
